I decided at a very young age that I would dedicate my life to bringing visibility to the morena sister. I am a Afrolatinx passionate Americana who loves to empower and uplift our people. I decided at a young age that I would not be define for my falls rather than heal through my ups. In doing so , una mano lava la otra and we can all heal as a collective. My inner sparkle is when people get to see the fruit of their labor once they are on the other side of disparity. As an Afrocaribeña, we often get left unseen, unheard and un(you insert the rest). I have healed through community and thats all im about. I am a writer, advocate, public service worker, activist & the story is still going.

my go to affirmation ‘ I can. I will. I must’ from a seminar I attended in undergrad
