We’ll unpack family dynamics, colorism, cultural expectations, and how Afro-Latinas are racialized differently depending on the room. This conversation centers honesty, nuance, and healing — not performance.

Hosted by Viva La Negra, this gathering welcomes those new to the community and those who have been building with us. VLN exists to create space for complexity, storytelling, and cultural reclamation without shrinking or overexplaining.
